Training  Development Program – ADP (Associate development program)

Associate Development Program (ADP) – PHM Hotels is specific training and development programs for Rank & File level to develop their skills, knowledge and attitude needed to be a successful employee, maximize their contribution in their position and to prepare them for the next level.

PROGRAM DURATION

This program lasts 12 (twelve) months. The training program will identify and assess the participant’s individual potential and determine how this potential can be utilized most effectively to create future hotel leaders.

PARTICIPANT & RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • All Rank & File are eligible to enroll on Associate Development Program.
  • Candidate must already work at PHM HOTELS for at least 6 (six) months.
  • Candidate is willing to be Bond after completing the Program for 6 (six) months.

 RECRUITMENT PROCEDURES

  1. GM, Department Head and HC hotel will select candidate/s to participate in this Associate Development Program and propose to PHM HOTELS
  2. Candidate must undergo the assessment process that will be done by Hotel and PHM HOTELS.
  3. PHM HOTELS selection team will select and confirm final candidate/s for Leadership Development Program
  4. PHM HOTELS selection team has a final right to issue the application status (Acceptance or Rejection).

PROGRAM DELIVERY MODE

TRAINEE’S OBLIGATION

  • Ensure to attend all of the training and activities schedule accordingly.
  • Ensure all reports are completed by the appropriate deadlines according to the training schedule
  • Provide progress updates and report to HC Hotel unit and Corporate Office.
  • At the end of each course each participant will meet with an intended department head to complete relevant sections of the competency.
  • During the period of obligatory service, the trainee should be ready to enhance their skills through new job assignment or task force program

DEPARTMENT HEAD’S OBLIGATION

  • Develop a mentor relationship with the Trainee
  • Provide support and guidance to the Trainee
  • Provide feedback to HC Corporate as to the progress of the Trainee.
  • Conduct monthly briefings with the Trainee to elicit constant feedback as to their progress
  • General Manager or Department Head to meet with ADP trainee on a monthly basis to discuss general progress and project completion

PARTICIPANT FACILITATOR – HUMAN CAPITAL LEADER

  • Work with the Department Head / Manager to design an objective and an appropriate training calendar.
  • Provide report to Corporate Office about the trainee’s progress
  • Advise all Department Managers to oversee the trainee’s behavior in terms of his or her character.
  • Assist the trainee with any questions regarding the contract and training program.
  • Regularly monitor the progress of the trainee with regards to the Leadership Competencies.
  • Control the direction and implementation of the program.

All participants must coordinate with the Human Resource Manager and Department Head in order to achieve an efficient workflow and ensure that all departments are working on the same time frame according to the training schedule.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

  • To graduate from the program, participants must attend with minimum 85% from total training session and complete all LDP required assignments and activities.
  • Complete the Performance Review at the completion of the Trainees term. The completed Performance Review should be forwarded to HC Corporate.
  • All graduate will be included into PHM’s talent pool

CERTIFICATE

All graduates will earn a certificate.
